     Greetings!

     It great pleasure to invite you to the 9th CDMA International Conference(CIC)!
     The mobile communications industry and Korea (3G systems based on CDMA) have made a continuous transition from 3rd to 4th generation wireless technologies.

     There are numerous high qualities R&D being conducted for 4G systems around the world. But more discussions and exchange of information are needed to provide ultra-high speed data rates, high quality services, and ubiquitous mobile communications environment for users in the future.

     I wish the conference play a pivotal roles as a major conference for scientists, engineers and researchers in the international mobile communication community to deepen the understanding on the current issues and find solutions to lower technical barriers to achieve the common goal of building 4G system.

     This year, we have put together a great program of tutorials, presentations, panels and workshops. I am convinced that the conference will be a great opportunity for experts from industry, laboratories, academia and service providers from around the world to share valuable information on developments ranging from CDMA to 4G technologies, such as, MIMO systems, Software Defined Radio, Bluetooth, and more.
